Your Host, Marie Louise Burton can help you design your special celebration, coordinating your ideas and ensuring that everything goes to plan seamlessly on the day. With this in mind, we offer a variety of event packages to suit your needs.
Our Facilities
Our property is designed for boutique celebrations, combining our heritage with classic country charm and style.
The Garden Gazebo is the ideal location for gatherings up to 20 guests, while an elegant white marquee overlooking the picturesque O'Connell Valley is ideal for larger celebrations up to 50 guests.
Stunning rural and mountain views provide a beautiful backdrop for a variety of ceremony locations in our manicured country garden.
Resort style accommodation for 2 adults is included in your event package on the day and night of your celebration and includes a continental breakfast hamper and late checkout.
Our private Helipad enables guests to arrive in style, enjoying a 45 minute scenic helicopter flight over the Blue Mountains from Sydney Airport. All flights must be booked with Settler's Rest Site Manager prior to scheduled flight date and all Pilots must comply with Aviation and Oberon Local Council regulations.

We are ready to organise your entire event, however we appreciate that you may wish to arrange some things yourself. Our venue packages offer you the flexibility to do as little or as much as you wish and we are happy to work with your vendors. We also have a list of preferred businesses who deliver exceptional event services. Together we can create a memorable celebration designed especially for you.

Package One
Our historic property is your private venue for your special celebration.
Facilities include a white marquee elegantly arranged with seating for up to 50 guests.
The garden gazebo is available for day time celebrations with seating for up to 20 guests.
Tables are set with elegant chairs, linen and fine crockery, cutlery and glassware.
Manicured gardens provide beautiful ceremony locations overlooking the picturesque O'Connell Valley and majestic Blue Mountains.
1 nights accommodation the day and night of your celebration including a gourmet breakfast hamper for two adults. Enjoy a late check out at 2pm so you can have a relaxing morning by the resort style swimming pool, have a sauna, or simply wander through the manicured country gardens. It's your private paradise!

This package includes everything in Package One PLUS the following services provided by our Preferred Businesses:
Mobile Caterer: Catering for up to 50 guests offering various menu packages.
Celebrant: Meet our Celebrants and choose the one you prefer.
Florist: Floral arrangements for ceremony location, and reception tables. Bridal Party bouquets and button holes can also be included.
Photographer: There are various packages to suit your celebration and budget.
Entertainment: See the entertainers we recommend and choose the one you prefer.
BYO Bar: Bring your own alcohol and our qualified bar staff will serve your drinks while you celebrate.
Transport: Guests transported from Bathurst by Bus to and from your celebration at Settler's Rest Venue.
